Tofu And Carrot Pittas

Ingredients

  • Servings: 1
  • 25 g tofu
  • 25 g carrots
  • 1/2 spring onion
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon raisins
  • 1 pita bread

Recipe

  • 1 brush the sandwich toaster with a little sunflower oil and preheat to its highest setting.
  • 2 mix together the tofu, carrot, onion, seasoning, and raisins. very carefully split the pitta bread open with a sharp knife taking care not to puncture the crust. stuff the carrot mixture into the pitta and flatten out the filling to give an evenly filled sandwich.
  • 3 place the pitta in the toaster, close the lid, and cook for 5 minutes until the pitta is crisp.
