Strawberry-gorgonzola And Chive Bruschetta

Total Time: 12 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 2 mins

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • french bread, cut in 12 slices (3/8-inch thick)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 ounces gorgonzola, softened
  • 4 tablespoons chopped chives
  • 2 cups strawberries, thinly sliced
  • 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Recipe

  • 1 heat broiler. in small bowl, combine oil and vinegar. lightly brush oil mixture on one side of bread. sprinkle lightly with salt. place on ungreased baking sheet.
  • 2 broil 4-6" from heat 1-2 minutes or until browned. set aside.
  • 3 in medium bowl, combine cheese and 2 tblsp. of the chives. spread toasted bread with cheese mixture. arrange strawberries on top. sprinkle with the remaining chives and pepper.
