Spicy Baked Shrimp

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons tony chachere's cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tablespoon of dried parsley )
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1 lb large shrimp

Recipe

  • 1 clean and devein shrimp.
  • 2 combine first 7 ingredients ( olive oil through caynne pepper ) in mixing bowl and mix well with a wire whisk.
  • 3 place shrimp in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish and pour in the marinade, toss well to coat the shrimp well.
  • 4 cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • 5 preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  • 6 remove shrimp from refrigerator but do not drain off marinade.
  • 7 when oven is to temperature bake shrimp until cooked through, stirring often, about 10 minutes.
  • 8 serve shrimp and sauce in individual au gratin dishes and garnish with lemon wedges.
  • 9 serve with hot crusty french bread - try dipping bread into the sauce. good !
