Turkey Gyros Pizzas

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 (6 inch) pita breads
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh mint (or 1/2 t. dried mint leaves)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 lb sliced cooked turkey breast, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup chopped cucumber
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato
  • 1 cup crumbled feta

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 400°; put the pita breads on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • 2 mix together the sour cream and mint; spread evenly over pitas.
  • 3 sprinkle each pita with 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese.
  • 4 top with turkey, cucumber, tomtao, and feta cheese; may sprinkle with a little salt and pepper, if desires.
  • 5 sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella.
  • 6 bake for 10 minutes or until pizzas are hot and cheese is melted.
