Shaker Green Beans

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 cups fresh green beans (no need to cut)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon pepper (according to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • breadcrumbs

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter.
  • 2 add flour.
  • 3 add all other ingredients except cheese and crumbs.
  • 4 mix well.
  • 5 add beans.
  • 6 pour into baking dish.
  • 7 top with cheddar cheese.
  • 8 top with bread crumbs.
  • 9 bake uncovered for 30 minutes or until beans are cooked.
  • 10 note: frozen beans will work as well.
