Spring Morning Casserole

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 2 cups cut fresh asparagus (1-inch pieces)
  • 1 small red sweet bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 8 cups cubed day old french bread
  • 1 cup cubed cooked ham
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups 2% low-fat milk
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, saute the asparagus, red bell pepper, and onion in butter until tender; set aside.
