Turkey Loaf

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb ground turkey (uncooked)
  • 1/2-3/4 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (8 ounce) bag of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 in a large bowl, beat one egg.
  • 3 add the ground turkey and breadcrumbs.
  • 4 mix with a large spoon (or your hands) until the breadcrumbs are evenly distributed. you can add more breadcrumbs if the mixture does not stick together well.
  • 5 on a sheet of wax paper (or you could just use the baking sheet) spread the turkey mixture into a rectangle. it should be between 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
  • 6 sprinkle the whole bag of mozzarella on the turkey mixture.
  • 7 roll the turkey into a loaf using the long side.
  • 8 cook for 40-45 minutes.
