Shortbread

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 lb cold butter (no subs)

Recipe

  • 1 in lg bowl, combine flour and sugar.
  • 2 cut in butter until you have a fine crumbly mixture.
  • 3 knead dough until smooth, about 7-8 minutes.
  • 4 pat dough into ungreased 15x10 pan.
  • 5 pierce with fork all over.
  • 6 bake at 325* for 25 minutes, until light brown.
  • 7 while warm, cut into squares.
