Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350­­*.
  • 2 combine butter, sugar, eggs, coffee and vanilla in a large bowl.
  • 3 beat at medium speed 2 minutes.
  • 4 mix in flour alternately with sour cream.
  • 5 grease bottom of bundt pan.
  • 6 prepare filling: in a small bowl mix brown sugar, nuts and cinnamon.
  • 7 set aside.
  • 8 spread 1/3 of the batter in pan and sprinkle in 1/3 of the cinnamon filling.
  • 9 repeat previous step two more times, ending with cinnamon filling on top.
  • 10 bake about 60 minutes or until cake tests done.
  • 11 cool slightly before removing from pan.
