Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 cream butter, add sugar gradually, beating until very light and fluffy. beat in eggs one at a time.
- 3 fold in sour cream and vanilla. add flour, sifted with baking powder and salt.
- 4 combine topping ingredients separately.
- 5 pour about 1/3 of the batter into a well-greased, floured bundt pan or a 9" tube pan. sprinkle with 3/4 of the topping mixture. spoon in remaining batter. sprinkle with remaining topping.
- 6 bake about one hour.
