Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Ingredients

- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 cup sour cream, dairy
- 1 1/2 cups flour, sifted
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
Recipe
- 1 cream 1c sugar and butter.
- 2 add egg yolks and sour cream.
- 3 beat until light and fluffy.
- 4 add flour, baking powder and baking soda.
- 5 beat egg whites until stiff and fold in.
- 6 pour batter into a greased and floured bundt pan.
- 7 sprinkle with topping made of 1/4 c sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
- 8 dot with extra butter.
- 9 bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
- 10 allow to cool in pan for 15 minutes before turning out.
