Sour Cream Dill Bread

Ingredients
- 1 package yeast
- 1/4 cup very warm water
- 1 cup sour cream, room temperature
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons butter
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 1/4-1 1/2 cups rye flour
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons water
Recipe
- 1 dissolve yeast in warm water.
- 2 in large mixing bowl,combine sour cream,egg,butter,salt,sugar,dill(5 and 1 cup flour.
- 3 stir in yeast mixture.
- 4 beat for 1 minute on medium,scraping sides of bowl often.
- 5 stir in remaining flour,cheese and enough rye flour to make stiff dough.
- 6 turn onto lightly floured surface and knead til smooth and elastic,about 5 minutes.
- 7 place in buttered bowl,turn to butter top.
- 8 cover and let rise in warm place until doubled (about 1 and 1/2 hours) punch dough down.
- 9 shape in ball.
- 10 place in buttered 8 inch round cake pan.
- 11 brush with melted butter.
- 12 cover and let rise,til doubled (about 1 hour) beat egg and water and brush over top of bread.
- 13 bake at 375 degrees,35 to 40 minutes or until loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
- 14 remove from pan and allow to cool on wire rack.
