Squash Casserole

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 3 lbs yellow squash
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup vigo breadcrumbs
- 1 -4 tablespoon sugar, to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 cut squash and onion.
- 2 boil together until tender.
- 3 drain well.
- 4 mash.
- 5 add eggs, salt, pepper, sugar, and half the margarine/butter.
- 6 pour mixture into baking dish.
- 7 melt remaining margarine/butter and put on top of mixture.
- 8 cover with bread crumbs and bake at 375 degrees until brown (about 1 hour).
