Stuffed Strawberry Muffins

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 2/3 cups flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- 2 combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
- 3 combine milk, egg and butter.
- 4 gently stir wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until moistened.
- 5 spoon batter into greased pans (reserving 1/2 cup for topping).
- 6 put 1 teaspoon of strawberry jam into each muffin.
- 7 spoon remaining batter on top of the jam and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
- 8 remove muffins and cool on wire rack.
