Sour Cream Cinnamon Nut Muffins

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped pecans or 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 mix together all filling ingredients and set aside.
  • 2 mix butter, sugar and eggs, then add sour cream and vanilla.
  • 3 add dry ingredients and mix.
  • 4 grease muffin tins or insert cupcake liners.
  • 5 spoon 1 tablespoon of batter into prepared muffin pan.
  • 6 top with 1 teaspoon filling, then add 1 tablespoon batter.
  • 7 sprinkle tops of each muffin with remaining filling.
  • 8 bake at 375° for 25 minutes.
  • 9 remove from pan and cool.
