Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup butter flavor shortening
- 4 -5 tablespoons cold water
Recipe
- 1 mix flour and salt in large bowl.
- 2 cut in shortening to resemble coarse bread crumbs.
- 3 add water, one tablespoon at a time, until dough comes together and is soft but not sticky.
- 4 roll out on floured surface. bake as per directions for pie. if you need a pre-baked pie crust, bake in oven at 325 degrees for 10-20 minutes, until golden.
