Stuffed French Bread Breakfast

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 loaf french bread
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage (your choice of flavour, i use sage)
  • 8 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup milk

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 slice loaf of bread in half lengthwise and hollow out. place removed chunks in a large bowl.
  • 3 brown sausage, bacon, onion, and bell peppers in a large skillet; drain.
  • 4 mix sausage mixture with bread chunks, milk and cheeses.
  • 5 fill hollowed out loaf halves with sausage and bread mixture.
  • 6 wrap halves in aluminum foil, and bake for 30-45 minutes.
  • 7 slice to serve.
