Two Cheese Fondue

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup wine
  • 1/2 lb swiss cheese, coarsely grated
  • 1/2 lb gruyere, coarsely grated
  • 2 tablespoons sherry wine
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • nutmeg
  • ground pepper
  • french bread, cubed

Recipe

  • 1 slice garlic in half and rub the inside of saucepan.
  • 2 put garlic in pan and add wine.
  • 3 bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  • 4 meanwhile mix together sherry and cornstarch.
  • 5 slowly add cheese, stirring constantly with whisk.
  • 6 add cornstarch mixture, stirring fondue until thickened.
  • 7 pour into fondue pot.
  • 8 add nutmeg and ground pepper to taste.
  • 9 serve with assorted vegetables, meat, and bread.
