Two Cheese Fondue

Ingredients

- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 cup wine
- 1/2 lb swiss cheese, coarsely grated
- 1/2 lb gruyere, coarsely grated
- 2 tablespoons sherry wine
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- nutmeg
- ground pepper
- french bread, cubed
Recipe
- 1 slice garlic in half and rub the inside of saucepan.
- 2 put garlic in pan and add wine.
- 3 bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- 4 meanwhile mix together sherry and cornstarch.
- 5 slowly add cheese, stirring constantly with whisk.
- 6 add cornstarch mixture, stirring fondue until thickened.
- 7 pour into fondue pot.
- 8 add nutmeg and ground pepper to taste.
- 9 serve with assorted vegetables, meat, and bread.
