Ultimate Cheese Biscuits - Muffins

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne powder
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup milk

Recipe

  • 1 in a medium size bowl, combine flour, cheese, onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne powder.
  • 2 stir in mayonnaise and milk - just until moistened. important: do not overstir.
  • 3 pour into well greased muffin tin until two-thirds full. fill 12 muffin slots.
  • 4 bake in a 425 degree oven for 12-15 minutes or until light brown. (good tip for any leftover biscuits - cut biscuits in half and turn down into melted butter in a skillet. grill until golden brown. good for breakfast.).
