Stuffed Bread

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 loaf french bread
  • 12 ounces swiss cheese, grated
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans mushrooms (can use up to 3 cans)
  • 2 tablespoons poppy seeds

Recipe

  • 1 score bread crosswise.
  • 2 stuff with cheese.
  • 3 melt butter and mix with onion, salt, mustard and lemon juice - pour over bread.
  • 4 drain mushrooms.
  • 5 add finely chopped mushrooms stuffing over cheese.
  • 6 sprinkle with poppy seed.
  • 7 wrap in aluminum foil, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
