- 3 (did you know that the most used ingredient in cooking is air?).
- 4 make a well in the centre and add most of the buttermilk or substitute ;-).
- 5 continue mixing with the fork until the dough comes together and is soft but not sticky.
- 6 add more milk if it's getting to dry or if to sticky add a little more flour.
- 7 with floured hands lift out the dough onto a floured surface and shape into a round. do not kneed the dough to much or you will get a hockey puck.
- 8 use your fairy hands for this, lightly lightly makes the dough rise high :-).
- 9 transfer onto a lightly floured baking sheet and with a sharp knife cut a cross along the top to let the fairys out while baking. then bake at 190 degrees for 30 minutes.
- 10 leave to rest and cool on a wire rack.
