Savory Turkey Loaf

Total Time: 2 hrs 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 3/4 cup fine dry breadcrumb
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, finely chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 grease loaf pan (8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches.
  • 3 mix all ingredients in bowl thoroughly.
  • 4 salt and pepper to taste.
  • 5 press firmly in loaf pan.
  • 6 bake until turkey is no longer pink and mixture is firm, about 1 1/4 hours.
  • 7 let stand 10 minutes.
  • 8 top each serving with catsup if desired.
  • 9 note: recipe can be doubled.
  • 10 bake in waxed paper-lined 6 cup ring mold about 1 1/4 hours.
