Savoury Scones

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups self raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 medium onion, grated
  • 1 cup tasty cheese, grated
  • 1 medium carrot, grated
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley, grated
  • 30 g butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon mustard

Recipe

  • 1 mix together the butter, milk, egg and seasoning in a small jug. put all other ingredients into a bowl and pour the butter mix over other ingredients and mix to a wet dough.
  • 2 drop full tablespoon's onto a baking tray and cook at 350-400c for 20-25 minutes.
