Spinach Toast

Ingredients

- 4 slices whole wheat bread
- 1 cup spinach, washed and finely chopped
- 1/4 cup panir (cottage cheese)
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 tomato, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1/2 teaspoon chili paste
- 1 teaspoon oil
- lemon juice
- salt
Recipe
- 1 heat oil in a pan.
- 2 add the finely chopped onion and ginger-chilli paste. saute till light brown.
- 3 add the chopped tomatoes and salt. mix well.
- 4 add the finely chopped spinach and crumbled paneer.
- 5 cook on high flame, till the water dries out.
- 6 add lemon juice.
- 7 spread the mixture on the whole-wheat bread slices and grill or toast them.
- 8 serve warm.
