Spinach Toast

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 slices whole wheat bread
  • 1 cup spinach, washed and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup panir (cottage cheese)
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tomato, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • lemon juice
  • salt

Recipe

  • 1 heat oil in a pan.
  • 2 add the finely chopped onion and ginger-chilli paste. saute till light brown.
  • 3 add the chopped tomatoes and salt. mix well.
  • 4 add the finely chopped spinach and crumbled paneer.
  • 5 cook on high flame, till the water dries out.
  • 6 add lemon juice.
  • 7 spread the mixture on the whole-wheat bread slices and grill or toast them.
  • 8 serve warm.
