Spinach With Sardines (espinafre Con Sardinhas)

Ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) can sardines, large size (guessing at weight)
- 2 tablespoons onion juice
- 2 cups cooked spinach, chopped
- 1 hard-boiled egg
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- salt
- 1/2 lemon, juice of
- butter
Recipe
- 1 skin, bone and chop the sardines; mix with the spinach, bread crumbs, lemon and onion juice, a little of the spinach liquor, the chopped egg and half the chopped yolk; season to taste.
- 2 put in a buttered baking dish; sprinkle with remaining yolk over the top and dot with butter.
- 3 bake for 15 minutes in a 350* oven.
