Teddybears Easy Honey And Walnut Cake

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 10
  • 250 g self raising flour
  • 175 g margarine, softened (or butter)
  • 115 g caster sugar
  • 2 tablespoons clear honey, plus extra for drizzling
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 orange, zest of, grated
  • 50 g walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 160c and grease and line an 18cm cake tin with baking paper.
  • 2 place all ingredients in a bowl and beat with electric beater until light and fluffy.
  • 3 turn into prepared cake tin and bake for about 45-60 minutes or intil firm to the touch and skewer comes out clean.
  • 4 cool in the cake tin for 10 minutes then turn on a wire rack to cool.
  • 5 drizzle with honey to serve.
