Thick Crust Pizza Dough

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2-2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 package)
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, combine 3/4 cup flour, salt, sugar, and yeast and blend well.
  • 2 in a small saucepan, heat water and oil until very warm (120 to 130) and add to flour mixture.
  • 3 blend at low speed until moistened and beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
  • 4 stir in 1/2 to 3/4 cup of flour to form a stiff dough.
