Texas Peach Pecan Bread

Ingredients
- 2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2/3 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 cup peeled mashed fresh peach
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Recipe
- 1 grease a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
- 2 in a small bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt.
- 3 in a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
- 4 add eggs and sour cream, and beat 1-2 minutes or until light.
- 5 stir in flour mixture alternately with peaches.
- 6 stir in peaches.
- 7 stir in pecans.
- 8 pour into prepared pan, and bake at 350°f for 50-60 minutes or until cake tester or knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- 9 cool 10 minutes in pan.
- 10 remove from pan to wire rack, and cool completely.
