Scalloped Mushrooms

Total Time: 53 mins Preparation Time: 8 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 1/2 lbs fresh mushrooms (washed, drained,sliced)
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 cups soft french breadcrumbs

Recipe

  • 1 place 1/3 of the mushrooms in a buttered 2 quart baking dish.
  • 2 cover with 1/3 of the bread crumbs.
  • 3 drizzle 1/3 of the butter over crumbs.
  • 4 sprinkle with salt& pepper.
  • 5 repeat another layer with another 1/3 of each.
  • 6 for top layer, cover with remaining mushrooms, salt& pepper.
  • 7 cover and bake at 325° for 35 minutes.
  • 8 mix remaining butter and crumbs.
  • 9 spoon over mushrooms.
  • 10 bake uncovered 10 minutes more.
