Tilapia Stuffed Pitas

Ingredients
- 2 anchovy fillets, drained and minced (optional)
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup italian salad dressing
- cayenne pepper
- ground black pepper
- salt
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lb tilapia fillet
- lemon pepper
- cayenne pepper
- salt
- 4 cups iceberg lettuce, shredded
- 1 small red onion, chopped
- 6 pita breads, cut in half
Recipe
- 1 mix anchovy and feta cheese and stir in mayonnaise, italian salad dressing, cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt.
- 2 heat up the olive oil in a skillet over medium-strong heat.
- 3 season tilapia with lemon pepper, cayenne and salt. heat the oil in a skillet and fry the tilapia fillets until they are brown on one side.
- 4 turn and continue to fry until the other side is brown and the fish can be easily flaked with a fork.
- 5 warm the pita breads in the oven or in the microwave to soften.
- 6 fill the pita breads with lettuce, onion, tilapia fillets and plenty of feta cheese sauce.
