Turkey Burgers

Ingredients
- 1 ounce olive oil
- 1/2 red onion, diced
- 4 tablespoons black olives, diced
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 jalapeno, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup artichoke heart, diced
- 1 1/2 lbs ground turkey
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground sage
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
Recipe
- 1 in a saute pan on medium to medium-high heat add oil & all raw vegetables & saute until translucent. remove & let cool.
- 2 add veggies to (raw) ground turkey & mix thoroughly.
- 3 add all dry ingredients & egg. throughly mix & form into 4 patties.
- 4 cover & refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- 5 cook burgers on grill, in a saute pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray or in the oven on a broiler pan until you reach 180 degrees.
- 6 serve on a bun (with condiments if you like).
