Turkey Loaf

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 1/4 lbs skinless ground turkey
- 4 slices whole wheat bread, toasted and made into fine crumbs
- 1/2 cup skim milk or 1/2 cup 1% low-fat milk
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 spray an 8" x 5" loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
- 3 in a medium bowl, lightly beat egg .
- 4 add remaining ingredients and blend well.
- 5 shape into a loaf and place in pan.
- 6 bake until browned and cooked through, 50-60 minutes.
- 7 top with additional ketchup (optional).
- 8 let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
