Spanish French Toast Torrijas

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 6 slices bread, french cut into 1-inch slices
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 lemon, peel and juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 orange peel

Recipe

  • 1 get syrup started by boiling water, honey, sugar, lemon peel and juice, cinnamon stick, and orange peel together for a couple minutes.
