Strawberry-gorgonzola And Chive Bruschetta

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- french bread, cut in 12 slices (3/8-inch thick)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 6 ounces gorgonzola, softened
- 4 tablespoons chopped chives
- 2 cups strawberries, thinly sliced
- 1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Recipe
- 1 heat broiler. in small bowl, combine oil and vinegar. lightly brush oil mixture on one side of bread. sprinkle lightly with salt. place on ungreased baking sheet.
- 2 broil 4-6" from heat 1-2 minutes or until browned. set aside.
- 3 in medium bowl, combine cheese and 2 tblsp. of the chives. spread toasted bread with cheese mixture. arrange strawberries on top. sprinkle with the remaining chives and pepper.
