Three Cheese's Brunch Bake

Ingredients

- 5 cups french bread, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 3/4 cup onion, chopped
- 8 slices bacon, cooked crisp, drained and crumbled
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 5 eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dijon-style mustard
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 350°f.
- 2 grease a 1 1/2-quart baking dish. place half of the bread cubes in it. top with half the onion, bacon, cheddar and mozzarella cheeses and all of the cottage cheese.
- 3 repeat layers as given (except the cottage cheese).
- 4 in a large mixing bowl, whisk remaining ingredients till blended.
- 5 pour liquid mixture over the layers, pressing down to saturate.
- 6 let stand 10 minutes before baking or cover and refrigerate overnight.
- 7 bake, uncovered 45-55 minutes, until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. serve hot.
