Thyme Stuffing

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 4 cups bread cubes (1/2 loaf makes about 4 cups)
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup finely cut onion
  • 1/2 cup finely cut celery
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon thyme

Recipe

  • 1 a few days before, tear bread into small cubes. allow to sit out to stale up.
  • 2 combine all ingredients except bread in frying pan. saute slowly until vegetables are slightly transparent.
  • 3 stir in bread cubes until all are coated with butter and ingredients are mixed evenly.
  • 4 stuff into bird at both ends. skewer openings closed.
