Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 4 cups bread cubes (1/2 loaf makes about 4 cups)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup finely cut onion
- 1/2 cup finely cut celery
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon thyme
Recipe
- 1 a few days before, tear bread into small cubes. allow to sit out to stale up.
- 2 combine all ingredients except bread in frying pan. saute slowly until vegetables are slightly transparent.
- 3 stir in bread cubes until all are coated with butter and ingredients are mixed evenly.
- 4 stuff into bird at both ends. skewer openings closed.
