To Die For Maple Pecan Buns

Total Time: 3 hrs Preparation Time: 2 hrs 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups pecan pieces

Recipe

  • 1 for dough, pour water into a large bowl.
  • 2 add yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar.
  • 3 stir.

  • 26 sprinkle with pecans.
  • 27 arrange the buns evenly in the pans.
  • 28 cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  • 29 bake in a preheated 350 degree f oven 25 to 30 minutes or until golden.
  • 30 cool 5 minutes at room temperature, then invert onto serving plate.
  • 31 serve warm or at room temperature.
