Toasted Coconut Bread

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 cup shredded toasted coconut
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 combine all dry ingredients.
  • 2 in a seperate bowl, mix milk, egg, oil and vanilla together.
  • 3 add to dry ingredients.
  • 4 stir until blended.
  • 5 pour into a greased and floured 9x5x3 loaf pan.
  • 6 bake at 350 for 1 hour.
