Tangy Pan Fried Tilapia

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb tilapia fillet
  • 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 3 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 coat tilapia fillets in dijon mustard.
  • 2 then dip in panko to coat.
  • 3 heat oil in skillet on med/high - i try to use as little as i can get away with.
  • 4 pan fry fillets until golden brown on both sides.
  • 5 try to turn fillets only once since tilapia is delicate and can fall apart.
  • 6 season with salt and pepper while still hot.
