Spoon Rolls

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 (1/4 ounce) packages dry yeast
  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 cups self-rising flour
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Recipe

  • 1 dissolve yeast in warm water, let stand for 5 minutes.
  • 2 combine yeast mixture with butter and flour.stir in egg and sugar.
  • 3 mixture will be a very soft batter.
  • 4 cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • 5 heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 6 fill greased muffin tins two-thirds full with batter.
  • 7 bake for 25 minutes.
