- 16 ounces kielbasa (or other smoked sausage)
- 1 (32 ounce) jar sauerkraut
- 1 lb red potatoes, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- rye bread (optional)
Recipe
- 1 cook sausage in skillet over medium-high heat for 8 minutes, turning once. slice sausage into 1-inch chunks. return to skillet.
- 2 add sauerkraut and cubed potatoes; bring to a boil. cover and reduce heat. simmer 25-30 minutes or until potatoes are tender when pierced.
- 3 serve with fresh rye bread if desired.
