Thin Crust Pizza Dough

Total Time: 2 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 2 hrs Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 proof yeast in water.
  • 2 mix all ingredients and knead for 7 minutes.
  • 3 place dough in bowl and cover with 1/2 teaspoon olive oil.
  • 4 let double and do not punch down.
  • 5 makes 3 - 9" pizzas. place airholes in dough with a fork before baking.
  • 6 bake 6 minutes at 500 degrees.
  • 7 then put on toppings or freeze.
  • 8 after toppings - bake an additional 5-10 minutes at 500 degrees.
  • 9 note: above is the orginial recipe. i make dough in bread machine on dough cycle. i always double this recipe so we have leftover pizza.
