Tapenade

Ingredients
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- 2 cups black olives, pitted
- 2 ounces anchovies, rinsed
- 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons olive oil, first press
Recipe
- 1 mix the first seven ingredients in a blender.
- 2 gradually pour in the olive oil while the blender is mixing.
- 3 continue until tapenade has pasty consistency.
- 4 spread on pita bread,or stuff endive, or on grilled crusty bread.
